What to bring

  • National ID (or birth certificate for children)
  • The phone number registered with SHA (for verification codes)
  • Previous prescriptions, test results or discharge notes
  • Your Mother & Child Health booklet for pregnancy and child visits
  • A list of medicines you currently take
  • M-Pesa or cash for anything not covered

How a visit works

  1. Registration. Our front desk opens your patient file and checks your SHA status.
  2. Triage. A nurse measures your temperature, blood pressure, pulse and weight. The sickest patients are always seen first.
  3. Consultation. A clinician listens to your concerns, examines you and explains what they find in plain language.
  4. Tests. If you need a test, our on-site laboratory takes your sample. Most routine results are ready the same visit.
  5. Treatment. Your prescription is filled at our pharmacy, with clear instructions on how to take each medicine.
  6. Follow-up. If you need a review, we'll agree on a date and, with your consent, remind you before it.

How long will it take?

Most outpatient visits take under an hour, but waiting times vary with how busy we are and how urgent other patients' needs are. Booking ahead helps us plan.

Your privacy

What you share with us stays confidential. We handle your information in line with the Health Act, 2017, the Data Protection Act, 2019 and the Digital Health Act, 2023. See our Privacy Policy.
