FAQs

Diabetes & Hypertension Clinic: your questions

How often should I check my blood pressure?

Adults should have their blood pressure checked at least once a year, and more often if it has been high before or you have diabetes, kidney disease or a family history.

What blood sugar level means diabetes?

A fasting blood sugar of 7.0 mmol/L or higher on two occasions usually indicates diabetes. A clinician confirms the diagnosis with the right tests.

Can I get my monthly medicine at Primegala?

Yes. After a review we can provide refills and remind you before your next review is due.
