The people who keep the lights on at night

Primegala is staffed 24 hours a day by registered health professionals: clinicians, nurses and midwives, laboratory and pharmacy teams, HIV testing counsellors and a front-desk team who help with registration and SHA.

Who you'll meet

A full care team, 24 hours a day

From the front desk to the ward, each person has a part in your visit.

Clinicians

Assess, diagnose and treat patients around the clock, and decide when someone needs tests, admission or referral.

Nurses & midwives

Triage, maternity and newborn care, immunisation, family planning and 24-hour ward nursing.

Laboratory team

Collect samples and run the tests that guide treatment, with most routine results ready during the same visit.

Pharmacy team

Dispense medicines safely, check for interactions and explain every dose in English or Kiswahili.

HIV testing counsellors

Confidential, judgement-free counselling before and after testing, with linkage to prevention or treatment.

Front desk

Registration, SHA eligibility checks, payments and help with bookings, records requests and feedback.

Every clinician at Primegala is registered with their professional regulatory body. You are always welcome to ask for the name and registration of the professional caring for you.
